This activity pack will help pupils find joy in reading and writing. It is a ten-week guided pack wherein each week focuses on a different kind of writing and has plenty of examples for children to follow. By the tenth week, children will be writing their own short stories and - hopefully - finding joy in the process.

This pack contains snippets of ten texts from well-loved children’s and young adult authors. Each text has a several spelling mistakes for the pupil to underline. Not only is this pack aimed at improving spelling, but also at encouraging pupils to read. Answer key included.

A codebreaker for S3 (Scotland)/Year 9 (England) and above. It is all vocabulary related to “les vacances”. Pupils will solve clues and ultimately crack the following codes: “valise”, “avion”, “semaine”, “il fait chaud”, “hiver” and “chapeau”. Extension task included at the bottom of the sheet.
