This is an informative, stylish 7 lesson guide to the complex software that is Adobe Photoshop. This guide can either be delivered by teachers or individually studied by students to work upon beginners skills.
Within the download file you will have access to a 7 part lesson PowerPoint presentationand PDF document with over 75, detailed slides and 14 screen recorded videos. The first lesson states the very basics of the Photoshop interface - each lesson slowly progresses with fun activities such as a double face manipulation and a T-shirt/background blend! Each task has pre-set videos embedded into the slides, and accessible via the download file, meaning teachers with little knowledge with Photoshop shouldn’t feel hesitant about teaching it to students. Additionally, there is a topic dedicated to the unethical sides of Photoshop for students to discuss and understand. Furthermore, a Creative Imedia case study is shown over the course of 2 lessons with one lesson focusing on relevant pre-production documents and 1 lesson on making the actual product with an example final product at the end.
You will also have a link to the Student Workbook which students can make a copy of and edit so a presentation of their work can be submitted.

This stylish, easy to teach guide to the latest Premiere Pro software can be taught by teachers, or individually taught by students.
The PowerPoint presentation comes along with detailed teacher notes, so teachers do not have to be complete experts in Premiere Pro to answer questions. With this guide teachers come equipped with 7 practical lessons to teach absolute beginners the complex application that is Premiere Pro.
In the download, you will find 7 lessons, video and audio to be used by students, pre-recorded screen captures that explain steps to each task, videos to present the fun in the film industry, a student worksheet that runs through each lesson, useful websites to find copyright-free video and audio clips and the Premiere Pro clip created by me that was used in all the recordings that are embedded in the presentation itself! (These files are waaay too big for TES so Google Drive, and Dropbox links are given in a Word document.
Each lesson has a fun starter to get students engaged with the lesson before it even starts! These lessons are also great as they will prepare students in the pre-production world with a client brief in the last two lessons that will require them to make mood boards and storyboards as well as understand and annotate the requirements the client is specifying!
