This is a long lesson which I prepared for an interview for a year 8. It has so much stuff which you will find really interesting! The starter is my favourite indeed! Have fun! And enjoy the reading, speaking and writing tasks with answers!

I spent two days on this lesson which got me a maternity cover job at an outstanding school! 83 slides of perfection. The lesson starts with teaching the kids about the weather. The starter is a tiny revision of frequency words. Then the rest of the lesson is a building up process, a progression between weather and sports with opinions, frequency and reasons: Quand il fait beau, je joue au football apres l'ecole etc.... This is a fast pace lesson which OFSTED loves. Slides have questions followed by answers, multiple choice and fading answers etc.... You will not be disappointed!

All: You will be able to say what you wear to school. Most: You will be able to conjugate the verb “porter” to all the persons in the Present Tense. Some: You will be able to construct complex sentences using the new vocabulary, adjectives, opinions and reasons.

This lesson is amazing! You will introduce all the vocab in a form of a consolidation quiz, followed by a reading task and a fantastic listening! There is a help sheet with worksheets as well! There is a starter, and a plenary! 80 slides of perfection, colours, great pictures. Students will be engaged! Try it! It is excellent! This is a fantastic resource which took me forever to put together. It includes a starter with extension and challenge, three quizzes about places in town. Students learn how to use il y a, il n'y a pas. There is a differentiated speaking task. Students then move on to the opinions with intensifiers. There is a listening task which is also differentiated with a challenge and an extension. There is a superb plenary! You will love this lesson! All ready to go!

Very good intro to transports vocabulary with a few sentences being built. You will be able to do a speaking, writing and translation. A lovely lesson which could be used as a cover lesson if you have Linguascope.
