I am a dedicated high school History teacher with international teaching experience, which has given me valuable insight into supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. I have marked for Edexcel, providing me with a thorough understanding of exam board requirements and how to help students succeed. I am passionate about creating and adapting resources to meet the diverse needs of my students, ensuring engaging and accessible lessons for all abilities. In addition, I am currently working on a YouTube channel (Lawrence Lectures) to share my knowledge on effective writing structures to maximise students' chances of achieving full marks across the following topics: Weimar Germany, Medicine Through Time, the Cold War, and Elizabethan Society.
