Les traits physiques - 32 race cards " I have, who has"
Great for getting students to speak about physical attributes. (cheveux, yeux,nez, bouche,etc.)
Give each student one card and set the timer. See how fast they are!
The first student reads his/her sentence and then the rest of the class sees if they have the match. ( i.e. "Qui a les cheveux longs?"
-> Jennifer Aniston a les cheveux longs") They continue until all cards have been used and the last card is achieved.
Students love to try and beat their time, or challenge another class.
Great authentic reading activity for intermediate students. These questions are about a French blog post about a teenage girl. The 30 questions she answers are currently being passed around the internet for students to fill out on their social media.
My students enjoyed reading about this girl, as her interests and answers were similar to current trends/ likes/dislikes. (Twitter, iPhone, websites, games)
Easy to understand vocabulary, yet answers are at a teenage level.
My students enjoyed reading the blog, but I have printed a copies of the blog in the past when technology wasn't available.
