'To Kill a Mockingbird' GCSE Revision Booklet
Revision booklet that can be used to revise the novel ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ at GCSE. This was made to assist students sitting the CCEA GCSE English Literature paper however, the general information on page 2 can be edited to suit your exam board.
Content includes: Chapter questions, character profiles, past paper questions (CCEA), a speaking and listening revision exercise, and a variety of tasks to revise the following are included: themes, the novel’s primary concerns, dramatic tension, narrative perspective, setting and context, language, symbolism, character analysis, and narrative structure.

This is a unit of work for William Golding’s ‘Lord of the Flies’ Unit . Included are lessons to support the teaching of each chapter in the novel, information on the context and themes in the novel, as well as a number of assessment activities to help test student’s understanding.

This is a digital booklet which covers the topic of Fashion and Sport. It was made with the intention to teach through distance learning. Students can each be assigned their own copy and can edit on Google Classroom. The booklet includes activities and notes on the unit. It can be edited and changed to suit your class.

This is a digital booklet aimed to be used for distance learning. Attached you will find a link to a Google Slides Booklet that you can edit for your own lessons. I have included a full topic study and activities to cover the unit of ‘Tourism’. This can also be used as an introduction to Tourism for older students or a transition into Travel and Tourism.

Internet Safety Year 8 ICT
This was a lesson that I used with a Year 8 ICT class (Northern Ireland) based on Internet Safety. It talks th students through the main aspects of Internet safety with a video that gets them to think about what is right and wrong when using the Internet. I had an ICT task at the end where students have to create a presentation on Internet Safety to explain it to their peers however, this could be changed and adapted for an assembly or other lesson on Internet safety.
Instagram Entrepreneur Activity
This is a fun lesson that I used when my students had covered their course and I wanted to finish the term doing something interesting and fun but still related to Business. This could also be a nice way to introduce students to Business Studies at the start of the year.
Decision Trees Revision
This example is a simple revision over Decision Trees (Strategic Decision Making). I used it with a CCEA A-Level class and then again with a AQA A-Level Business class so it can transfer easily across exam boards.
Recruitment and Selection Revision Task
This was an activity that I used to revise over Recruitment and Selection and took two classes. It allows the students to experience the advantages and disadvantages of the recruitment documentation through creating them as a business would.
Starbucks Revision Time - Revision Poster
This is a poster to indicate when it is revision time and to highlight what is expected of students. I display this when students are doing their own revision or working on a question in class. This gets them to think about the atmosphere of a coffee shop and creates a similar setting to allow them to study on their own.

Presentation on the elements of PESTLE. Used for BTEC Business, AQA A-Level Business and CCEA Business Studies.
The Impact of Enterprise and Innovation
This presentation accompanies the BTEC Business Unit 1 Exploring Business chapter (E. Investigate the role and contribution of enterprise and innovation to business success). It can be adapted to teach innovation and enterprise in for other exam boards. For example, I have edited it and used to teach AQA A-Level Business. It includes a range of case studies and relevant videos to consolidate learning throughout.
