There is materials on the many roles of animals in society and a separate section on the different types of animal welfare organisations. A range of materials on all of the relevant laws for section B and materials for responsible ownership for section C

This huge bank of resources covers all the main sections of the Animal Welfare Act 2018 Amendments. It is expected to be used as part of the BTEC First in Animal Care, Unit Three Animal Welfare, Section B on Welfare Legislation. The Amendments are broken down into 5 learning sections, hiring or horses, selling pets, animal exhibition, breeding dogs & animal boarding establishments. Each section has a PowerPoint with all the major points covered and then a worksheet, with a range of questions in both style and ability so differentiation is easy to provide. Each section is enough work for an hour’s worth of learning. The work is all provided both as PDF and Word documents so you can either use as they are or adapt to your own needs. There is a PowerPoint of all the slides together which could be used for revision or as a research aid. Finally, there is also an assessment which covers all 5 sections and can give a check of understanding before coursework is started.
