Area and Perimeter Interactive Whiteboard Quiz and Treasure Hunt

(0)
A ten question interactive quiz, based on KS2 area and perimeter. Print the questions and hide them around the classroom to form a treasure hunt. Children can work individually, as pairs or in groups to solve the puzzles whilst a 30 minute timer counts down. Once the time is up, the children can come together and press buttons on the IWB to move them through the answer slides, before being tasked with a final super challenge involving using the numbers that they collected. A great activity that lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour, that will have your class up on their feet and focussed! Excellent promotion of team work and problem solving, with the added incentive of the hunt and interactive elements.

A small selection of household objects will be required. These are clearly listed in the slides. The PowerPoint, itself, includes clear explanations of how to complete each activity and includes space for video to be attached, allowing you, as class teachers, to run through what is required.
