This lesson is the first in a sequence of six where students learn about Rhythm and Pulse. In this lesson, students will learn the definition of the words rhythm and pulse and try to clap a basic rhythm using dots in boxes. Students will also compose their own rhythm and watch a video of the musicians ‘STOMP’ to understand how polyrhythms are used to make music.
This bundle focuses on the different careers in the music industry. Each week, students will look at a different career and analyse it. Students may never have heard of some of these careers before and it will be an eye opening experience for them. In Week 7, students will create an overview of each of the careers they have looked at and decide which they would be most suited to.
