GCSE Religious Studies Edexcel B Christian Beliefs revision or home learning workbooks
There are two workbooks here designed to be for two homeworks or for two intervention sessions. You could also use them in lessons once you have finished content for the pupils to be working their way through.
There is a personalised learning checklist on the front, keywords, Sources of Wisdom and then activities for each part of the topic.
I have divided them into two because it makes the content more manageable but you could easily make it one booklet.
There are two sets of each booklet. One is a design that has been created to be printed and handed to the pupils to write into. The other one has been adapted so that it could be uploaded onto teams for pupils to type into it and work from home
A level OCR Religious Studies Revision sheets for Christian paper
There is a double sided revision sheet for each of the Christian Development units for the OCR Religious Studies paper.
The first side is the knowledge that needs to be included. It includes all the requirements off the spec.
The second side is the discussion bullet points off the spec to get pupils to revise having an opinion.
I have used them as revision tasks in class or as a weekly piece of homework in the run up to the exams. If the pupils complete them in detail they have a really good sheet to use as final revision before the exam. They are also useful for pupils to fill in at the end of a unit of work to ensure that they have understood and covered the whole spec.
They will print in A4. Then get the photocopier to blow them up to A3 so that there is space for pupils to make notes.
Year 6 Transition Day. Introduction to RE for year 6 pupils at secondary school
This is a lesson for a year 6 introduction day.
The pupils go around the room to find out the information to fill in their worksheet. The lesson teaches them key facts about the six main religions. I also used the lesson to introduce peer assessment and use of green pens.
The information is on the sheets that I placed around the room for them to read.
There is then a quiz at the end to see what they have learnt.
I finished the session of with any questions they had about what RE would be like in secondary school.
Scholar and Philosopher List by topic for OCR A level Religious Studies
There are two documents here. The first one is a word document with each topic on the OCR A level listed and the scholars that can be used for the topic. There are ones that are on the spec and ones that could also be used. It is fully editable in case you teach some different scholars to the ones that I have listed. I give this copy to pupils for folders/books so they can use it to aid their independent study and revision.
The second document is a spreadsheet which has a table of the same scholars and all the topics. The green shows scholars on the spec and the orange shows additional scholars. As shown in the photos it can be filtered by scholar to show all the topics they appear in or filtered by topic to show all the scholars in that topic.
This is an excellent resource to show pupils how the scholars link to other topics but also for revision purposes. You can even create a differentiated version for higher ability pupils to have knowledge of more scholars than lower ability pupils.
This is for Philosophy, Ethics and Christian Development.

There is a personalised learning checklist on the front, keywords, Sources of Wisdom and then activities for each part of the topic.
I have binded the whole set together to make a book for my students so that they value it more and it doesn’t get destroyed in bags!
This set gets you all 16 books individually and the one set all together. They are all editable so you can give instruction sheets and deadline dates etc. There are 131 pages in total in the master copy.
I have also included another set of each booklet that has been adapted for teams. This means there are 16 booklets that are best used in the classroom, the layout is more interesting and there are more pictures. The other 16 are the exact same questions but set out so that they can be put on teams for pupils to type into and then submit.

GCSE Religious Studies Edexcel B marking stickers (9-1)
Use these to mark pupils work quickly. I have used the exam board marking criteria to create them.
Pupils stick it on their work after they have completed a question and then you tick or circle the marks. Your marking stands out in the books (for book check!!) and pupils learn the exam criteria. Plus marking is much quicker because less written feedback is needed.
For peer assessment you can print onto green stickers so that the difference is clear in books.
Included is stickers for 3 mark, 4 mark, 5 mark, 12 mark and SPAG.
The stickers are set up to print 8 to a page.
Revision Dominoes for Christian Beliefs GCSE Religious Studies
There are 33 keywords and defintions included in the set of dominoes.
Print off, laminate and use in the classroom as a revision tool
I have written them to match Edexcel B, however they would also match other specs that are doing Christian Beliefs.
Christianity Edexcel B Religious Studies Connect 4 revision game

They print in A4 but need photocopying in A3. I would have them laminated so that they can be reused as revision starters. Pupils can use scrap bits of papers as their counters, actual counters or cut out and laminate the ones on the counter sheet.
Note: For some reason on the images it is showing all the circles messed up! When open on a word document they are spaced out normally!
