I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

A simple 9 page wall display outlining the definition of the 7 quadrilaterals and their properties. Print them and laminate them they make for an effective teaching aid. Each quadrilateral has its own page so the display can be projected onto a whiteboard too. I finished it off with a summary table. Hope you find it useful.

This worksheet covers the differentiation of composite functions, including trig functions, logs and exponentials. 35 questions - some very challenging so plenty to practice on - this is aimed at students at the start of year 13 and it includes some of the standard applications of differentiation. Answers are included Bonus As the reverse operation I also had a sheet of 20 Integration of composite functions - using linear functions for the composite part - you may find it useful. This is a PDF consisting of all that you would need for teaching / learning The Equation of a Circle at ‘A’ level. Starting with basic equation, questions build up to include calculating the equation of tangents and normals etc This is a really thorough worksheet which will stretch all students regardless of their level. Circles and Tangents for 'A' Level - With Answers

(0)
This is a very thorough worksheet covering all that is needed for top grade students on the theory of Circles and tangents. Some of these questions are difficult for the average ‘A’ level student these days but all serve as excellent examples and the theory covered has both breadth and depth. two pages of work here - with answers ( which I have kept as neat as possible) This took a tremendous amount of work, so I hope it is of use to someone. Answers are included. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Co-ordinate Geometry For 'A' level with answers

This is a great PDF on one sheet consisting of 12 detailed questions. The questions involve: Distance between two points, Mid-points, Perpendicular lines. I have avoided using the equation of a circle - that is for a later worksheet. It is a very thorough worksheet and ideal for end of topic recap or revision. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.
Trig Identities for 'A' Level

Trig Identities for 'A' Level

(0)
This is a collection of almost 50 Trig identities that I have collected over the years. They are not in order of difficulty but I see no reason why an ‘A’ level groups should not work through them as a collective group effort. - there’s a good idea for a lesson. Obviously answers are not included but all identities have been checked. Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

This is a pdf consisting of 25 assorted questions on the applications of differentiation. All the algebra can be reduced to polynomials only. Topics covered include Gradient of a curve Increasing and deceasing functions Tangents and Normals Turning Points (including points of inflexion) Simple maxima and minima problems Curve sketching These problems range in difficulty and some are quite challenging - definitely good for revision or, as I have used it, to finish off differentiation at the end of year 12. Answers are included - as always Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you

Miscellaneous Differentiation - With Answers

This is a PDF consisting of over 60 questions on differentiation. Questions are miscellaneous involving Product, Quotients, and Compound Functions and even some implicit differentiation I originally wrote this worksheet as a revision exercise but eventually incorporated as a starter - 3 questions per lesson. Due to the difficulty of some of the questions I re-wrote the sheet and have put the two together as one making for a huge number of differentiation questions. some are quite demanding but, if students can do these then they can do anything. I have included the standard differentiation fact sheet as a bonus. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you.

Differentiation Of Products + Answers

This is two very comprehensive worksheets covering all that you will need to teach and revise the differentiation of a product. This PDFs consists of around 30 questions each on differentiation of a product - sometimes including the chain rule too. Q1 - 10 (35 questions) covers differentiation of products using only polynomials, logs and exponentials - I used this teach the product rule. Q1 is over twenty functions to differentiate. Q2 - 9 cover the application of differentiation of products - gradient, tangents, normals and increasing functions The second sheet I used for more able students or those wanting revision practice at a later stage - some of these get quite tricky. Q11 another twenty function though I now include trigonometry and reciprocal trig functions. Q12 - 19 much harder applications. Answers are included Please leave feedback, particularly if you like my work - thank you
