For each grapheme there is:
An introductory powerpoint looking at each different sound the grapheme makes
A 'Writing sentences' powerpoint with sentences each containing words with the alternative pronunciations
for each different pronunciation, with sentences for the children to write, containing words with the alternative pronunciations
A game where the children have to choose the correct pronuncation of words

POWERPOINTS
CIRCUITS AND ELECTRICITY: Asks questions to recap on learning from Year 4, to see if children have the appropriate background knowledge. It explains electricity and how it will only flow when it has a complete circuit. It talks about batteries as a source of electricity and introduces the use of symbols for creating circuit diagrams.
CIRCUIT DIAGRAMS: Goes into circuit diagrams in more detail, showing different symbols, and different circuits, explaining how bulbs can be made brighter etc. Ends with questions about circuits and asks how the children can test out their answers.

Alphabet / Letters, digraphs and trigraphs A5 flashcards / display - 72 graphemes
This set contains all the letters of the alphabet, consonant digraphs and vowel digraphs and trigraphs in the Y1 spelling appendix.
The cards are in pdf format for you to print out as many times as you like. They can be used as flashcards, for display or for group or individual use.
There are 2 cards per A5 page. Each card contains pictures and a list of words, including the relevant common exception words for Y1. The single letter sounds contain the matching keyboard letter so they can help children on the keyboard.
