This includes a range of SOW and resources that are used for the year 9 students. This include: Teechers (3 weeks) Naturalism/Mugged (6 weeks) A Christmas Carol (6 weeks) A Curious Incident/physical theatre (6 weeks) Although this is still KS3, our intention is to prepare students for KS4 - whilst sustaining engagement. This is a SOW which was created to support KS4 drama. It was created as part of the WJEC GCSE Unit 1 (devising) unit, focusing on the practitioner Brecht.

These peer assessment cards have been created to encourage students to provide effective peer assessment and develop their knowledge of key Drama terms. These can be used by KS3 or KS4 learners and can be used in various ways. Each card has a Drama skill, definition and questions to assist students in forming their feedback. I have also included a PowerPoint slide which I used to reinforce the instructions to the learners.

This is an English SOW based on the play 'Stone Cold' based on the novel by Robert Swindells. This play follows a teenage boy who is homeless. This was designed for a LA Year 8 group but could be used for year 7/ HA 6. This includes activities based upon each scene, dictionary tasks, comprehension tasks and creative responses. This also includes peer/self assessment activities.

This is a 6 lessons that focus on using improvisation and asks students to develop a script that follows them being stranded on a desert island. Each lesson includes a PowerPoint and there is also a knowledge organiser and end of topic assessment includes. Each script/monologue writing activities have model examples to assist the students.

This is a unit of work I created in response to our schools focus on creating a 'growth mindset'. This was taught to KS3 students as a mini scheme. Students created drama based upon celebrities journey to success and motivational speeches.

If like me, you lose access to your Drama studio during exams, this resource’s aim is to make sure that theory/classroom based lessons are still valuable. This includes seven lessons worth of theory activities that are based upon the expectation (yet a differentiated version of) of students at KS4 (BTEC Technical Award). The topics include: -Physical Theatre types of staging performance and vocal skills analysis of aural and physical setting (using Shrek The musical and Matilda) comparing and contrasting performance works. Each lesson has a full PP and worksheet.
