This is an English SOW based on the play 'Stone Cold' based on the novel by Robert Swindells. This play follows a teenage boy who is homeless. This was designed for a LA Year 8 group but could be used for year 7/ HA 6. This includes activities based upon each scene, dictionary tasks, comprehension tasks and creative responses. This also includes peer/self assessment activities.

This includes a PowerPoint to introduce TSLAP analysis (theme, structure, language, attitude of the poet, personal response). It also includes a range of worksheets to support TSLAP analysis in relation to poems e.g. - An analysis poetry structure strip -A comparison table - A writing 'frame' This is used throughout KS3 and KS4 to analyse poetry at our school.

This is a unit of work I created in response to our schools focus on creating a 'growth mindset'. This was taught to KS3 students as a mini scheme. Students created drama based upon celebrities journey to success and motivational speeches.

This is a SOW used with year 8 as an introduction to dance. Students create a routine based on James Bond, the styles explores include capoeira and street. This was really successful with boys!

This is a seven week SOW based around injustice throughout history. This explores slavery, Rosa Parks, The Civil Rights Movement and Hillsborough. This includes a detail SOW with key assessment points, assessment and evaluation sheets and a PowerPoint for each lesson, with resources. The SOW includes clear differentiation opportunities, which are also available on the PowerPoint presentation. I have completed this with year seven, however it is also suitable for year 8. Enjoy!

This is a unit of work to explore the English and Korean Education system. It works towards the students completing a task arguing which system is better and why. This was created for year 9 students but could work with younger, and older, students.

This was created as an observation lesson and got fantastic feedback! It is based around attraction (Britains got talent) and works towards creating a musical tableau. This also created a feedback card that I laminated and use for verbal feedback, a full lesson plan and PP.

This a fully resourced years worth of KS3 lessons (this is for year 8 but could also work for year 7). This includes a full SOW and PP and homework activities for each booklet. Alongside, an evaluation booklet and assessment sheets. The topics include: Improvisation Scripts (Willy Russell) Haunted House Christmas Physical Theatre There are opportunities for stretch and challenge throughout. No additional planning needed.

These are the PP used to complete the theory aspect (LAC/A) of component 2. This talks students through workshop write up and the setting and reviewing of SMART targets. There is also a support sheet which I made to assist my SEND learners and versions of the assessment criteria which I have laminated for students, and myself, to refer to.
