The Glass Menagerie Revision

The Glass Menagerie Revision

Aimed at A Level Literature, also useful for GCSE. This pack is a simple revision activity for all 7 scenes. Tried and tested and very useful. Basically there are a series of points/topic sentences/comments/quotes on each scene which the students then expand upon in turns, allowing them to read each others’ work and build each point/topic sentence/comment/quote into a mini group written essay. I took a lesson, sometimes two over each scene. When completed I provided each student with their own copy of the mini essays written for each scene. Sometimes I’ve seen this activity described as ‘Pass the buck’. Page numbers refer to the Penguin edition but references should be able to be found pretty easily as they are specific to certain scenes.
