This super fun and engaging Chemistry resource contains 4 activities that you and your students can enjoy using the Guess Who boards. My students love it! The activities are a combination of teacher led and student led. Each activity contains opportunities for extension and suggestions on differentiation. The activities are suitable across KS3, KS4 and KS5. If you do not have a set of boards, no problem! The activities can still be used by printing and laminating sets of the element cards.

This resource contains every experiment from the Edexcel iGCSE Chemistry course (Double award). This resource is designed to help students revise Chemistry by applying their knowledge and understanding to practical chemistry. This resource includes questions about practical methods,identifying apparatus, anaylsing data, drawing graphs and writing conclusions, as well as testing a students understanding of the key concepts.

This resource contains little 5 minute activities for students to do as part of their Chemistry revision. It has been made using the Edexcel iGCSE Chemistry specification and all activities are chunked into the main topic areas: Principals of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. A suggested way to use the resource is to ask students to complete the activity and then colour code the task red, amber, green based on their confidence. This will help them to sort out which areas of the course they need to focus on the most. Another way to use the resource is using the Brain, Book, Buddy, Boss strategy.

Here are the answers for the iGCSE Chemistry Prescribed Practical Booklet that I have created.

This resource contains 21 model answers from topics that come up frequently on the exam papers. They are all scrambled up so students need to unscramble the text, identify the key marking points and then turn the text into a suitable picture/diagram/equation. The idea is then they can use the picture/diagram/equation to try to recall the text as a revision activity.

This booklet contains 18 science investigations that students could complete at home or in school throughout the term. The investigations are simple and designed to be student led. They could be completed individually or as a group.

This bridging booklet has been designed to help students have the best possible start to IB Chemistry. It contains the bare minimum of what is expected of them to know before they start the IB course. It could be used as a homework booklet or use in lessons at the start of the term.
