I have taught all levels from kindergarten to adult continuing education. I love languages and am constantly working on improving and adding to them. I believe that if students have fun, they will learn faster and remember longer. I try to have students speak in the target language as much as possible during the limited time that they are in class.

Print on cardstock and cut into cards. Each card tells name, position in family & age. Pass out 1 per student (reduce # of families or # of family members to accommodate your class size). Students may offer info about themselves ONLY when answering a question. Students must find all members of their family. When done, each person must introduce a DIFFERENT member of the family.

PowerPoint game (1 slide) that works on developing memory and clothing vocabulary. Clothing (20 pieces) enter one at a time (click to advance) & disappear behind the suitcase. At the beginning of each round student says "Voy de vacaciones y en mi maleta voy a poner (text is permanently on screen) & mention clothing. Round 2: mention 1st, then 2nd item. Round 3: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Can be played individually, with partners or teams. Winner can correctly recall all 20 items IN ORDER.
