1. Underline mistakes in (A) and annotate with marking codes
2. Underline extras in (B)
3. What feedback would you give (A) to improve and become (B)?
Display the numbers so everybody in the class can see them: one number per A4 sheet. To display both number words and colour words, print the numbers on coloured paper and make sure the colour of the sheets for 1-11 match the words at the bottom. Alternatively print in black and white and colour in the numbers or use the version without colour words.
Do you use a lot of PowerPoint presentations and are bored with using the same design all the time? Here are 14 themed backgrounds to bring variety to your presentations. Most of them should also help students with dyslexia who find it easier to read from coloured backgrounds.
The themes are mainly the ones covered in language lessons but can be used for a variety of subjects.
TES doesn't allow the sharing of Office Themes, so these are saved as presentations. Either use them as they are and add your content or save them as a Office Theme if you want to use them in different presentations.
Note: These presentations do not contain any content but are only backgrounds.
A short paragraph explaining the building and fall of the Berlin wall. Can be used as an introduction to the topic or as a one of lesson on the Berlin Wall (e.g. on the 3rd October).

Each worksheet contains the same paragraph about history, a vocab list, an activity where students have to find words in the text, a dictionary task and a quiz.

This is to support AQA German A level, Hodder & Stoughton book Kapitel: Kunst und Architektur, page 74-77 .
It now also includes two 360 degree tours to introduce and practise architectural vocab.
I have used this in combination with semerson6’s resources https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/aqa-german-a-level-hodder-and-stoughton-book-kunst-und-architektur-11486144.
The first task is about the famous buildings mentioned in the “Zum Einstieg” box at the beginning of the chapter. The powerpoint “Berühmte Gebäude” contains pictures of each of the buildings, showing each one for a few seconds and then moving on to the next (it plays in a loop). While watching the presentation students should fill in the worksheet about the name, country and function of the building.
The web tasks ppt contains a link to an overview sheet of different styles that I found online. After going through the vocab with the students, they then use their devices to go to 360cities.net to look at a 360 degree view of the buildings (they are the same ones from the text on p. 75 which can be used as the answer sheet) and work out what style they represent.
My students enjoyed that task very much and I think it bring architecture a bit more to life.
Logo 3 green, Nächstes Trimester, Ich muss pünktlich sein ect.
Powerpoint to introduce/practise, not very exciting but includes a crossword puzzle to print out
Power point for the first lesson to show students your expectations for careful copying in German lessons. Students are shown a sentence on the whiteboard and asked to copy it carefully. Then potential mistakes are highlighted and students have to check their own work, e.g. do they have an underlined title, capital letters and umlaut…
