Card game with singular and plural forms of different nouns, covering the different spelling rules (x, sh, ch, irregulars, etc.). The cards should be printed either on coloured paper or card stock, or using the final page on the opposite site so that pupils cannot see through them. They can be used to play memory or Go Fish.
The second file contains various KS2 exam practice about plurals. The crossword is best assigned as homework for extra practice.

1: completed colour coded table presenting grammar - blue for present, green for past - with gap fill questions for each pronoun on each side of the table. Pupils do not have to decide if the sentence is present or past as all present are organised below the present grammar table, and all past are below the past grammar table
2: same colour coded grammar table as above, but with missing words: pupils must complete the table with the missing words (am, is, are, was, were), then complete 10 gap fill questions based on the table. Present and past are mixed, and some require the pronoun, some the verb to be completed.
3: 2 quizzes - this sheet should be cut in half so that pupils’ answers are not influenced by the other quiz. It can be used as a starter to check ability, or after the first 2 in order to test new skills
