Year 3-4 Statutory Spelling Activities
A booklet that includes 300 different activities linked to the statutory spelling list for Years 3 and 4.
Activities include:

Unjumble the letters to find the word (answer sheet also included for this)

Judaism Reading Comprehension
A reading comprehension resource that acts as an introduction/ general overview for Judaism, focusing on what it is, what Jews believe in, worship for Jews and mitzvah celebrations.
This resource includes:
A fact file about Judaism (both in colour and black and white for ink saving purposes)
3 different comprehension activities of differing challenge - answers are included for these
A vocabulary activity that requires definitions to be found for each word provided.
SATs Year 6 Grammar Revision Presentation
A presentation that includes 145 past questions that can be used as a revision tool for Year 6 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling or that can be used to pick and choose from for starter questions in English sessions. Questions are taken from the sample paper as well as the 2016 and 2017 paper.
Easily usable as talking points with children practising a question at a time before then discussing the answer and why that is the case.

Relative Clause Worksheets
Three differentiated worksheets that focus on relative clauses for children in either Year 5 or 6. Activities start with children being able to identify relative clauses before moving on to including them and then writing their own sentences that include relative clauses.
Examples of Instructions
8 different sets of instructions that are aimed at different ability children, showing different ways in which instructions can be set out for day to day tasks as well as showing how detailed instructions can need to be for a simple task like cleaning your teeth.

Stone Age to Iron Age - Because, but, so
A set of writing activities that link to working on using because, but and so based on ‘The Writing Revolution’.
Included are 22 different sentence stems that link to learning for the Stone Age to the Iron Age which all require the use of because, but and so, challenging pupils ability to use the conjunctions appropriately as well as acting as a retrieval task in checking understanding of previous learning.
Adverbials Worksheets
Two worksheets with a variety of sentences that all include some form of adverbial, whether as a one word adverbial, fronted adverbial or adverbial phrase/ clause.
Children need to work through the worksheet to identify the adverbial/s in each sentence. Answers are also provided for both worksheets, with both worksheets also provided in UK English and US English spellings.

Information Text Scheme of Work (planning, slides and resources included)
Fully planned, differentiated and resourced unit of work looking at information texts. Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 14-15 lessons that focus on key features of information texts and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7.
Skills include: researching and planning, reading comprehension, using generalisers, creating a glossary and structuring a text with sub-headings and a topic phrase.
Harry Potter reading comprehensions combined
Extracts from all seven Harry Potter books with three sets of differentiated questions attached with each extract. These activities will help children work on a range of comprehension skills using a story many are already aware of and engaged with. Questions range from simple retrieval to commenting on why particular language has been used.
