A matching card game of the classic story 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?&'. A great way to introduce colour and names of animals in French, but could be used for any foreign language. A graduated ‘fill-in’ worksheet using reflexive verbs and time for your daily routine. What time do you wake up, get up, get washed, get dressed? etc… Answer, I wake up, get up, etc. followed by a particular time. Good for reinforcing and revision of clock times plus the use of reflexive verbs. I have purposely left times blank, so children can choose whatever they would like. An extension to simply naming the animals, could be to practise the phrase J'ai un chat, J&'ai une souris etc.. Colours could also be mentioned or even the size of the animal.
