I gave my students this picture for their French homework and they were asked to write a story about it . The two stores were both written by two of my students who are 13 years old. Didn’t they do well? I was so delighted with the result that I just had to share it with the TES community!! I will admit that a few minor tweaks have been made. The first story is written in the past tense, using the ‘perfect’ tense and the ‘imperfect’ tense. Find out the names of the chicks and what kind of characters they have. Follow them on their journey and find out what happens when they decide to go on an Easter egg hunt. Also included are 12 questions to answer. The second story is written in the present tense. A simple dialogue between un lapin et un poussin. Revises: introductions/name/age/opinions/adjectives. This activity could be used in several ways. Pair work for straight forward reading of dialogue.
