These German extension cards are great for having in the classroom when students have finished a task early or they can be used as starter activities. The activities on each card are designed to encourage students to spot patterns and to think for themselves. They can also be used with any year group.
Feel free to adapt these to suit your own students’ needs.
The cards are colour coded by topic / grammar point:
false friends
idiomatic grammar
complex tenses
adjectives
reading activities
speaking activities
It’s best to print them off in colour, laminate them and then keep them in a handy ziplock or box at the front of the classroom. If you use these often enough, you will find your students will soon automatically help themselves to these without instruction!
My students enjoy these cards and I hope your students will too.
Any feedback is appreciated :)
