Las nuevas tecnologias
This is a collection of worksheets that I have been doing for my current Y9. They have worked really well to expand their vocabulary on this topic, as I felt this was a very broad topic with not enough resources. I have been following the structure form the VIVA Spanish GCSE (with regards to the contents of topic).
Board game to revise main things on technology
Los adjetivos
Basic explanation of adjective agreements in Spanish (colours / nationalities …) and some practice.
Good for revision. Used mainly with Y8 higher ability, Y9 and Y10.
Ser or Estar
6 worksheets with plenty of practice with SER and ESTAR It explains the uses and giving examples allows you to practice the two very important Spanish verbs.
Some activities are more difficult than others, particularly towards the end. What I do is ask my lower ability students to either work as a group or I put them in mixed ability groups if they find it too hard. Activities number 12 and 13 are the hardest, but it helps them develop dictionary skills and translation technique.
I first use them with my mixed ability Y9, some can work on their own just fine and I give some help to the rest.
It can also be used as revision for GCSE
Llevarse bien/mal con...
4 worksheets to practice llevarse bien/mal con…
There is some other vocabulary to do with relatioships between people (I argue with - he/she supports me…)
There is a small reading activity , some translations, fill in the gaps and a writing task with some help words provided.
I use these with Y9 mainly, but can be used as revision for GCSE
I always include the .doc and the .pdf for the files in case your PC does not like my format.
