Help your students recognize punctuation errors using these simple sentence correction sheets. Simply slice into strips for quick early finisher activities, or hand out the whole sheet as an extension activity. Encourage your class to use a colour pencil to make the corrections on the typed out sentence first. Perhaps a friend could then check this over for them before they re-write the sentence correctly in the box. A sheet for the Early Years which has some animal pictures on of animals which are phonetically plausible. Beside the pictures, children can write the initial sound or the full CVC word. I have used this as a starter activity during the morning when children come into the classroom. Also great as a form of assessment when completed independently.
