Identifying Feelings Gameboard

(0)
This Identifying Feelings Game Board is helpful for teachers teaching social emotional skills in the early years and with children with Autism. This game helps children develop self regulation skills. It also helps children identify common feeling faces. It includes a Feeling Detective Game Board and a Feeling Chart to identify their feelings on their first roll! The game has common feeling identification cards such as happy, sad, disappointed, mad, silly, surprised, sleepy, and worried for children to identify and then move along the game board. At the end of the game children can identify how they are feeling as well. This can be a nice teachable moment because sometimes children feel differently after the game. Feeling of winning may make them feel happy while those who lost may feel disappointed or even angry. Talking about these emotions after the game and giving them strategies to help those emotions can be very beneficial to model the social emotional skills. Have a great year teaching your little detectives! Love, Little Detective’s Discovery School
