Short Andrew Goldsworthy flipchart on Art outside - I used this with a year 3 and year 4 class to inspire them and we ended up making some great pieces of outdoor art following this introduction particularly using the outdoor area - I have also used this for an enrichment activity as a whole school for a morning in the autumn term and went very well in the school grounds ! Do enjoy and adapt to your kids !

A year 5 rounding off lesson - Ideal to introduce the topic to the class - can be adapted to any year group though and can be used as you see fit in regard to the starter or end of the lesson - Really got the class thinking about the concept of rounding off - Would be also good to teach to a mixed age class to revise and or further their work and consolidate learning.

Book and character work in this regard - ideal for either a guided reading session or English themed work for a few days - pictures and text all there and activities within the Powerpoint - feel free to use as you wish - my year 5 class loved it and we did a mixture of work within this as necessary ! A whole stand alone lesson on compound sentences with word resources to show progress over a lesson - The inspector said he liked the lesson ! It is a well paced Powerpoint then explains clearly to KS 2 the use of a compound sentence and how to use them - they then put this into practice by using the activities within the attached word document This took a 50 minute lesson and all children accessed this really well - I have done this to years 4,5 and 6 and it has worked well - I hope you find it of use either for a lesson or revision tool

Complex sentences - A stand alone lesson with included resources to print and a self coloured pleanary for the children to show their understanding of complex sentences and use them in context etc - This is a powerpoint although as I say needs the last slides printing off for the activities - any queries do message and I`ll happily help !

A great Spag revision tool that will work with any age group from Year 3 to Year 6 ! Ideal to embed learning ! Information on word classes through the poem and then completed workheets to revise them further still with creative progress to make and design their own ! All the children I have used this on have really enjoyed it and learnt a great deal ! Any questions do ask away !!

A great Powerpoint to work on chunking in relation to estimating ! A warm up on the first few slides revision and work on division followed by coloured slides challenges that get harder and a plenary to focus on at the end of the lesson to see how the children have gone on ! A great starting point and is clicked at varoius points - any queries etc do be in touch !

Fractional part lesson within the powerpoint with a good starter attached to do with money and value followed by explaining the fractional part and its uses generally also accompaying worksheets with short activities on - I have done this with years 4,5 and 6 and has worked very well ! The SLT liked the progression of the lesson and activity also - any queries do message !!

A selection of powerpoints I have used to years 3,4 and 5 to work on Venn diagrams with worksheets for the children to work at accordingly - In all the cases and times I have done this it has gone very well - could easily be adapted to year 2 and as a revision guide to Year 6 children. Sword in the stone reading and writing comprehension ideal for KS2 particulary mixed aged class ( mine!) this activity/lesson went really well to improve reading skills ! Different children read different parts then we discussed key words and phrases - then all of the children completed the attached activties within this Powerpoint identifying word classes intially to improve SPAG skills then developing their reading comprehensive skills with some inference also - Headteacher walked in mid lesson and really liked what she saw ! I hope this helps as a stand alone reading activity or English lesson !

Perseverance assembly - Climbing a mountain This is an assembly of mine I did to all of Key Stage 2 over 200 children in the hall to talk to them about the idea of Perservance and what this meant and was all about - the opening slide is a video one and I got them to try and guess the title of the assembly as they came in and watched it - the other slides are for points on discussion and information in regard to this and resilience also - this went very well and the children did get the message !

A choices assembly ideal for children or Years 5 and upwards to year 9 or so - It is a bit basic and was a bit off the cuff however, having done this to a large year group of top heavy boys who were very sporty, it did very much appeal to them and the activties within in it in regard to choices and the choices we make in life. The video is based on a Guiness advert but does not really reference this and is done as a documentary style Ashwin Willemse: The Right Path tells the story of a man who had a choice of two paths when growing up. One dictated to him by a notorious Cape Town gang, and one he would need to make for himself, to follow a path to the pinnacle of rugby. The film celebrates the choice that he made to defy his circumstances, and with the encouragement of those around him, he became who he really wanted to be, eventually winning 19 caps for his country and becoming a World Champion in 2007. The video is emebeded in the powerpoint and should work ! Any problems do give me a shout - this would be ideal for a pick up and go assembly ! Enjoy !

Jesse Owens assembly with you tube link within it and additional colouring resources if required for the children - Ideal for key Stage 2 children and it leaves a thought provoking message to all ! Great for that Monday morning when you run out of ideas !!

Rosa Parks assembly - a great piece to show year groups 5 and 6 and is pretty much stand alone - do read through the powerpoint and look at the information - thought provoking and worked well with older ones as I say

A short powerpoint on drawing hands to then replicate and build upon to draw the Iron man hand escaping from the trap - I did this with a year 3 class who to be fair stuck at it well and we created some great pieces of work -This would be great to do over 2-3 weeks as I did to support them I would perhaps show them a video on the drawing of hands also - Great lesson though for an afternoon to focus on theme - Art and DT - feel free to use as you see fit for your class whilst studying the Iron man !

Air resistance Science lessons 1 and 2 - ideal stand alone lesson with included slides and activity sheets for the class ! Although this is aimed at Upper Key Stage 2, Year 4 and 3 could easily access the materials also and the activity sheets within this - There is 2 completed good to go stand alone separate lessons here but they could be edited to cover a short 4 or 5 week term as necessary

A powerpoint file and video link for an assembly on Courage - This then has a link to the Channel 4`s trailer for the paralympic games from 2016 - I have done this for an assistant head post (interview day etc and the governor and deputy head thought this was truly inspirational for the children to think about themselves and others - The overarching theme being " I can " A powerful message with a prayer also at the end ! National Curriculum Grids for all years resource excel Spreadsheet for all primary school years covering the core subjects reading writing and maths and all the objectives - all excellent way of seeing what you have to cover in all years and is helpful when teaching mixed aged classes. This is my bible and I must use this everyday in planning and assessment and I use it as a great go to ! I wish I had this when I was training !

A bundle of lessons and pack of activties etc for a study in English of the popular story There`s a Pharoah in our Bath by Jeremy Strong - over 12 ideas, lessons, comprehension ideas and Big writing including story, diary and newspaper article work - these can be edited or adapted to suit your classes and goes from chapter 1 (including comprehension activties) that could be used for guided reading sessions - This will save you a lot of work and could easily be used for a half term of lessons or beyond also includes a drama lesson - This would be idea for someone new to the topic and used in conjuction with the topic of Ancient Egypt - A great bundle !
