Here is a list of a massive number of games that i use in my warm ups for all sports and modules.
I have also attached a bank of games that I have used over many years in afterschool clubs, breakfast clubs, holiday weeks. Can be modified to make sport specific.
Please take time to review and look at my other PE uploads.
Thanks for having a look. This unit plan was hugely successful last time I put it on here, however I had breached copyright infringement unfortunately and has taken a while for me to re-upload.
As the title suggests it is a 7 week long unit plan that can be used in lessons as part of a varied and enriching PE curriculum or to be run as an afters-chool club. It was designed by me and can obviously be adapted to suit needs of children and resources.
It builds on fundamental movement skills and is an invasion game that requires, throwing, catching, passing, shooting whilst focusing on both attacking and defending principles. Because of its uniqueness, it can give everyone a level playing field.
Think of it as netball/football/dodgeball/handball all combined and it gives you an idea of what the game looks like.
Any quesions just ask… Cheers.

After seeing very little on the web for a scheme of work for Tchoukball I came up with my own. Using a few ideas found on the internet using my own template. Included are ways to differentiate, learning objectives and adpatations.

A 6 week program designed at beginner standard KS2 students, year 3, 4, 5 and 6. Covers the fundamental skills used in Pop Lacrosse inc passing, catching, shooting, picking up and cradling. Have used this SOW with students in all 4 stages of KS2 to a great degree of success.
Lacrosse is a great sport to develop hand eye coordination and a really good example of a team sport in action. Fast and Fun.
Please feel free to look at any other of my resources.

Teambuilding unit of work for KS1 or KS2. Combines the elements of the TV shows the Crystal Maze and The Cube.
Students play individual, skill-based events to earn crystals to compete in the final game. Perfect for teambuilding and leadership as well as being inclusive for all including reluctant athletes.
Have played and perfected this game for years and run it as an all day event, class reward and a stand alone unit of work over several weeks, each focusing on 2/3 events. Great fun and really engaging.
If you buy it please rate and review, and check out my other units of work, schemes, bundles and sports planning.
Mr Johns
This is a 6-week scheme of work for gymnastics, which is an important part of a PE curriculum. It is aimed at beginner or intermediate students. It has been used and slightly modified for all 3 age groups.
My schemes of work follow a simple structure of active warm up (normally a play based game), skill practice followed by an applied skill game.
I believe that in order to have balanced PE curriculum students need to be familiar in both FOM (fundamentals of movement) and FMS (fundamental movement skills). I use those at the beginning of each year. Please see my other uploads to find those. Thanks for downloading this resource, hopefully it makes sense, often these are written for me to use or to use alongside teachers I am mentoring. If it fails to makes sense please contact me on twitter @MrjohnsPE, please take the time to leave the resource a rating- means a great deal.

This is a 3 week unit of work based on the the book of The Whales’ Song by Dyan Sheldon and Gary Blythe.
It follows a talk for writing method of teaching the book to children, giving a chance to imitate and then innovate their own ending based on what they have learnt.
The unit focuses on ending in descriptive writing and kpis are taken directly from the 2018 national curriculum. Lesson are differentiated as are resources.
Documents are easy to follow and all in one place meaning that you dont have to keep opening different documents.
Also included:
-Photo of my own story map
-Learning objectives, so students aren’t wasting time writing them down.
Word mat for interesting and unfamiliar words
Self assessment sheet for final piece of work.
(I have taken photographs of the book, if you want those contact me directly and I can email them across)
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. And please please please leave a review if you found this helpful.
Hi, thanks so much for looking at my labour of love. It is a work in progress and my aim is to have the whole school year plan ready for the end of the summer holidays. But here is a taster; a whole school term 1 plan.
A whole school scheme of work that consists of 6x 6 week units of work they can be adapted, edited or tweaked. Attached are:
PDF and Word. Curriculum overview. The route map our school are following from reception through to year 6.
PDF and Word. Termly overview table. This has two PE lessons a week on it including a scheme of work called Real PE-ignore this, however I will only put one set of lessons on here as most schools will only have one PE lesson a week.
Word. 6 week plans for year R (ball skills simplified), 1 (ball skills repeated), 2 (multiskills), 3 (football skills), 4 (team building), 5 (tag rugby), 6 (football)
I would very much appreciate a review on here if you choose to buy and if you have questions please do ask and I will do my best to get back to you, thanks again.
This is a resource I have put together which groups the lyric sheets found on a variety of sites into character groups that you can assign to students for singing assemblies or class assemblies. It makes it easier for children to follow and sing their part. Anything that has been Underlined and in Bold is to be sung by everyone.
We chose to give solos to the towns people and Mirabelle. There is also a brilliant video on Youtube by Disney that has the lyrics when they are all combined at the end for display purposes.
This is one lesson sample from my 6 week lesson plan that is available as a premium resource.
Please feel free to look and if you like it check out my other lesson plans.
