This SoW takes students from the end of WW2 through to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. It is aimed at students in year 9, but could be adapted for younger students if necessary. You will need the AQA Understanding the Modern World GCSE textbooks for some of the activities and information sources used within. The lessons cover the following topics.
