French Phonics Scheme of work for KS3
Here is a word document where I have organised the SSCs from the new French GCSE 2026 according to where they could be reinforced at KS3. The list of 36 sounds was taken from the Edexcel GCSE 2026 list and organised at KS3 following the Studio French topics.
The list is in a checklist format. It helps you keep track of the resources you might need for each SSC (an introduction, a dictation and a read-aloud).
