Supplement your classroom word wall with this simple template that students can track their own words and definitions. Take your geometry unit to the next level by allowing students to apply learned concepts of geometry to the world around them. This playground hunt activity allows students to find the shapes they have learned about in class in a place they visit regularly, their playground. Students will draw a representation of the item they found, label its shape, identify the object, and then describe its features. Check out this two part simple assessment to gain insight into students' understanding of the "Predict and Test" method which builds on the idea of guess and check but uses students knowledge and prior information to make their math more meaningful. There are four total questions. The first two, include word problems that students think through how to meet basic requirements included in the sentences. The second two include addition up to the thousands place where students must show their work. This can easily be use for small group work, independent work, homework, or an assessment such as a quiz, test, or exit ticket.

Check out this fun way to facilitate student learning of odd and even numbers. This worksheet is split into two sections. The first part includes students grabbing a scoop or handful of something. **This will require the teacher to supploy counters, or blocks, or skittles etc.**. They will answer a few questions based on their scoops. The second part has students answering multiple questions in which they simply identify numbers as being odd or even. Students will have a blast with interacting with the manipulatives you supply and will learn while doing so!

Check out this five prompt geomtry challenge. It can be used for a group or be done independently. Each of the challenges push students to create a quesiton of their own based on the topic provided which include polygons, triangles, 3-dimensional shapes and more. The prompt tells students the questions are to be test-type questions but adapt as needed. The idea is that students think through creating problems as well as the answer key to the topics they have learned. This serves as a great review come testing time!

For sale is a fun and easy printable poster pack with factors 1 through 12. Each number is large and fills one 8.5" x 11" Letter paper. Embedded inside each of these bubble letters are the multiples of that factor. For example on the large 3, you will find consecutive skip counting of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, etc. up to the 12th multiple. This is great for teacher introducing multiplication, skip counting, touch math and or providing scaffolding, support or reference for ESOL, ESE and Gen Ed students! These can be printed on color paper, laminated and used for years to come! Check out this awesome packet that includes 10 different worksheets with correlating answer keys. This mental math coaching exercise covers the topics of addition and subtraction and each sheet includes six problems. It is meant to be played one student vs one student in which student 1 coaches student 2 to find the sum. The sixth question on each one has the sum but is missing a box and students need to figure out what is missing. This is a great student-centered activity in which students support, explain, and teach each other while building number fluency, place value understanding and mnetal math skills. Directions are included!

Check out this fun and engaging with for students to practice their one digit addition skills. With 81 question cards. Each question card is meant to be glued or taped to the answer key which serves as the backing to each card. Students use a clothespin or binder clip or paperclip to cover one of the four answers on the bottom of each card which answers the question on the top. Once the pin covers the answer, they can flip over the card and find the correct answer showing an emoji on the back, which should also be covered by their pin. Kids will have a blast with this while they self-monitor their progress and can respond in the moment to correct their answers and clarify their misunderstandings. I would suggest printing it on color paper to make it even more fun! Directions for the teacher are included as well! Have fun!

Students from all walks of life have huge capacity in increasing their memory when a beat or song is attached to it. Though these lyrics have been adapted for my students, I highly encourage you to adapt them as you need to meet your students' needs.
