My name is Kiplangat Nathan Sikor, from Uganda in East Africa. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Modern Languages, specializing in French language and literature, from Uganda Christian University. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in French language and literature at Abo Akademi University in Turku, on the southwestern coast of Finland. I am a writer of four collections of poetry: « Le soupir des tropiques » , « Sur les rives du Nil » , « Au-delà de nous » , and « En Ciblant la lune ». I have also authored a novel entitled «Le garçon de Sebeiland» and a play in English called "The Scars of Cherop". My research interests include French language and literature, translation studies, African francophone literature, and French poetry and theater. I am passionate about exploring the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of the Francophone world, with a particular focus on the literary traditions of sub-Saharan Africa.
