20 slides with realia relating in one way or another to the topic of school. Each of the realia is accompanied by a question practising typical challenging AS question forms such as "In welcher Hinsicht ist ..." and "Aus welchem Grund ..."
Dialogue in which a frustrated tourist attempts to retrieve an umbrella from a fairly useless employee at a lost property office. Pupils practise the dialogue and then adapt the script by introducing different items. Just add props!
The link is to a six-minute video clip in which young Germans test three different means of transport for price, comfort, speed and environmental impact. The worksheet has (i) a comprehension task relating to the video (ii) an article covering the video content which students can use to check or augment their answers (iii) a comprehension task based on the article (iv) a speaking task and (v) a writing task. Text in which four teenagers describe the contents of their schoolbag, and say what they have forgotten. It serves as an introduction to the regular plural form in French. The text is followed by an exercise in which students must identify and list the singular and plural forms. They could then describe the contents of their own schoolbag.
A set of plenaries adapted largely from ideas uploaded by mikegershon, with additions from myself and my colleague at Gordano, Ruth Jones. The adapted slides have (i) been given a makeover and (ii) been re-phrased so that they all address the students directly and are thus ready for classroom use, hence 'Plenaries TO GO'.

A World Cup footballer (Mario Götze or Daniel Sturridge, depending on which file you use) describes his daily routine in simple terms. Text is followed by a comprehension activity and a manipulation activity. Can be converted to any national team with a bit of find-and-replace and a new picture.
Interactive PPT activity practising sentence structures for describing personality and character. Slide 1 acts as a homepage for the other slides and contains hyperlinks to images of fictional characters. Students must in each case construct a sentence, using the on-slide sentence pattern as a scaffold. Different sentence patterns are practised.

Five authentic blogs about pets written by relatively young native-speakers.( I've changed the names of the writers and the pets.) The texts are followed by comprehension and manipulation exercises and a little bit of grammar.
Grammar exercises based on lyrics from 'Das Nikolauslied'. In the first exercise students must choose the correct verb, in order to re-tell the story of Santa's visit on the 6th of December. In the second exercise students must conjugate the key verbs from the story. Grammar dressed up in a bit of tinsel.
5 verbs in the Conditional, set out in a table, so that students can analyse and infer the pattern. Could be printed as hand-out or blown up as a poster.
A speaking (and possibly writing) activity in which students must use on-screen support to generate sentences about key characters in the film. The first page on the slide acts as a homepage, hyperlinking students to hidden photos of the characters.
