This a stripped down version of the KS4 text I uploaded, which is called Untergang der Titanic. Hopefully this will be accessible for relative beginners. There is a stimulus text, a vocab list to aid comprehension, questions in English, a 'find the phrase' exercise, a manipulation exercise, some FAQs to comment on and research, and a writing task to wrap it up. I've put the rubrics in English and German. These can be edited one way or the other to suit your group.

Each set contains a lead text with a vocab list, followed by comprehension questions in English. There is then a grammar point, a find the phrase exercise, a manipulation exercise. Pupils then study a list of German FAQs about the Titanic, select questions that interest them and research the answers. Finally they are invited to write a text of their own about the Titanic.

Prekäre Handlungssituationen - Leben der Anderen

(2)
An extended text describing and analysing key decision points for the main characters in Das Leben der Anderen, followed by a summary exercise which should help students gain an overview of cause and effect and provide a useful tool for revision. To create this text I have edited down a more complex analysis of Wiesler and Sieland found on wedding-music-and-more.de and interwoven additional material on Dreyman written by Isabella Langheim. I made up the summary task.
