A great class assembly for anyone covering the Crime and Punishment topic. In this script the Senior Leadership Team are meeting to discuss ways that the can ‘punish’ the school PE team for their misdemeanors. Different teachers imagine different types of punishment taking the audience on a journey through the Middle Ages, Tudor and Victorian times. The script has 20 parts but could be easily adapted to 30. Best suited for KS2 but could be adapted to lower/higher ages. NB - the teacher names are highlighted in green so that you can add in your own to tailor it to your school.

I made this Ancient Olympic Quiz for an Olympic themed week at school. I focuses on the History of the Ancient Olympics.
The resource has three parts:
Quiz questions for the teacher to read out - PDF
Answer sheet for the pupils - PDF
Link to an informative video (17 mins long - pictures/voice over) that I made that goes through the answers whilst adding interesting facts/telling the story of the Ancient Olympics. The video has a ‘Hercules’ sing-a-long ‘brain break’ in the middle. - link to mp4
If you didn’t want to play the video, you can always have a listen and learn all the facts to retell to your class!
NB: Question 8 mentions about how the olympics were often completed in the nude - it also makes reference in the video to Boris Johnson making a similar comment as PM
