I have had great feedback from colleagues about my resources. Some of them are free and some are available to download, alter and use for a small download fee. Hopefully it will save people time! I love teaching and I love making resources. I make resources to use myself, ones that are useful! I have been teaching for a long time. I have taught from reception all the way up- every year group. Here are 6 different tasks I made. They are reasoning problems all based on some of the old Nrich maths problems for more able children upper KS2- but all altered and with a Christmas theme. Eric the elf Elf City Christmas Treats Mother Claus good Deals? North Pole Diner Christmas Animal Crackers Pack includes all 6 of the reasoning problems/tasks on easy to print/laminate individual sheets and all answers. This is a fun activity that keeps the learning going until Christmas and my class are loving these. I may well make some more (if I have time!)

I created these checklist cards as English Coordinator to help embed grammar throughout the school. The children can use them to assess when they have done a piece of writing. I used both the national curriculum and Pie Corbett's progression in writing to put these together. They are very visual and give examples. This is the year 3 one. Had lots of good feedback from our school and cluster from children and staff.

These progression in writing assessment cards are child friendly and colourful. This pack includes year 1- year 5. I haven’t made a year 6 yet…but work in progress! The children find them easy to use with great examples. I made them as English coordinator to help embed grammar throughout the school and also help staff with the expectations for the children in each year. I used the National curriculum and the Pie Corbett progression in writing to help me piece these together. The individual price of these totals £14.95, so thought I bundle them together for just £5.99. Please feel free to adapt this resource and obviously change the school name and logo at the top. I am sure everyone will find these as useful as we have at our school.
