A full lesson on converting denary to binary and vice versa. Lesson plan: run through slides 1 - 12 Before the lesson print off the 1 0 document double sided and the dots single sided. Ask for 4 volunteers, get them to arrange themselves smallest to the right (in value of dots) and then get them to count to 15 by flipping their pages. Second set of 4 volunteers (Repeat the process with the 1 and 0 pages) Students then complete the self marking spreadsheet Exam questions to finish.

Here we have my Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies taster lessons (5 lessons). This could also be used as a project to teach the project lifecycle of LO1. Lesson 1 - Initiation (students have to initiate a project, which is to make a database for a local sports team) Lesson 2 - Planning (students have to design a data dictionary for their sports team database, includes validation and presence checks etc) Lesson 3 - Build their database in Access (I have a sample database with data but I cannot upload, so if you email me, I can provide you with this ) Lesson 4 - Query the database Lesson 5 - Complete an evaluation All lessons have a PPT and a worksheet with guidance for the students and teacher.

You will need some audio editing software like Adobe Audition or similar where you can change the parameters of the audio file. You will also need an uncompressed audio file (which is not included for copyright purposes)
