Everything you need to walk into a phase 4 phonics session week 3 (two syllabic words) and review of week 2 with tricky words. All activities only need white boards and white board pens. Part of my series of presentations for phase 4 which can be purchased as a pack or just weekly if you are already half way through. I am developing these resources as I go. These are ideal for supply teachers or teachers who hate cutting and laminating. There are a nice balance of different activities each day/week and the principles of sound, word and sentence and then text is used to ensure progression. Save time and use these presentations for delivering phase 4. You only need white boards and pens - no laminating of cards. Ideal for supply teachers or cover lessons/TAs to just progress through. Each day has at least 20 pages and is over planned so you can whisk through or go slower depending on your own pupil needs. Lots of variety and needs no resources at all. Promethian and Notebook files. I am an outstanding teacher (hate that phrase but that's to let you know I can actually teach :)) and have over 25 years experience teaching from Y2 to Y6. I also have a Master's degree in SEN and leadership experience as an Academic Vice Principal/my NPQH. Last year I was teaching in the UK in a challenging school and was judged as exemplary. Week 4 covering all the work covered so far with plenty of opportunity to apply and use in writing sentences. You do not need any resources. I developed this as I was doing cover and being swapped groups and as soon as had all resources for one phase, ended up needing to make another. So.... all you need are the notebook or Promethian depending on your software, whiteboards and pens - you don't have to take resources not knowing what phase you will be covering as a supply or cover supervisor/leader covering classes. You can buy all the weeks in a pack, saving you money too. I'm a teacher with 25 years experience including as SEN advisor and Academic Vice Principal, judged consistently outstanding. I developed this unit for a Y2 class of withdrawal LS pupils whom had small group focused English lessons. It includes adapted PPTs specifically with lower language load but they can be adapted up or down. I have also included a few additional resources from other sources .

Versatile, editable game for assessment/revision, centres, use with parents or pupils, teaching vocab or just developing interaction, social skills. I 've used this game in so many ways and just edit the words depending on the context. I've used after an intense training day with staff for fun, with EAL children to assess after a unit of work, as part of a end of year assessment of topic understanding and to restrain impulsive and hyperactive kids shouting out opponents answers whilst waiting their turn.
