A fun, diverse and detailed unit focused upon British Poetry! This unit has been created specifically to intigrate KS4 skills into the KS3 curriculum to prepare students for the rigors of the new 100% exam GCSE specification. The unit focuses upon exploration and analysis of the poems 'Jabberwocky' and 'Timothy Winters', and works best as a Year 7 scheme as its end-of-unit exam is tailored as a hybrid of KS2 SATs and GCSE. However, it could also be used with lower ability Year 8 or 9.
