This is a 7 day DIFFERENTIATED TEACHING POWERPOINT complete with a success criteria for each lesson, talk tasks, learner tasks as well as accompanying resources for the book, The Egyptian Cinderella. The lessons include comprehension and grammar based on the book and it is pitched at National Curriculum levels. All the lessons follow in sequence and each lesson whether comprehension or grammar builds up to the long writing task, which is to write the opening of The Egyptian Cinderella. The learners’ can use their work from Day 1 to Day 6 and interweave it into the Long Write. Some lessons include a word bank to support EAL/SEN learners. This set of lessons is structured based on the best pedagogical approaches to use in the classroom such as AFL questions to gather what learners already know, the use of talk partners to share learning, allowing learners to choose their own task from MILD, SPICY and HOT (this works wonders for their self-esteem) The tasks are differentiated and progressive and the assessment at the end of the lesson is based on the success criteria. This resource can be used to promote independence of learners that may otherwise struggle with ordering numbers and knowing the place value of numbers from 1 to 1000. It can also be printed for individual learner use and used as part of an individual maths toolkit until the learner becomes familiar with numbers 1 to 1000.

This is a 10 day DIFFERENTIATED English plan complete with success criteria’s for each day, a TEACHING powerpoint and all accompanying resources. The setting description can be used as an independent write. It includes visuals and word banks to support EAL/SEN learners. The activity is based on describing the setting- Liam in Space using the 5 senses(see, smell, touch, taste, emotions of character in this setting and thoughts using adjectives or expanded nouns, powerful verbs and similes and figurative language and includes a success criteria. Lesson 1: To make a prediction. Character description of Liam This is an 4 day English plan complete with success criteria’s and differentiated resources that leads to a long writing task - character description of Liam. The activities is based on role on the wall, describing Liam (height, weight, hair, face, eyes, mouth,teeth, clothes, emotions, voice,speech and movement using adjectives or expanded nouns, powerful verbs and similes Lesson 1: To use adjectives and expanded nouns - role on wall activity Lesson 2: To plan a character description.
