Shannon Bruce Ramaka, Ed.D, holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, MS in Curriculum Instruction and Supervision and teaching endorsements in theater and fine arts. She has lived and worked in Oregon, Zambia, Hungary, Morocco,Turkey, Kosovo, and The Netherlands as an elementary teacher, middle school art and humanities teacher, International Baccalaureate (IB) high school drama teacher, principal, school director, university teacher, and university program director. She is a writing coach, online tutor, and English tutor for students of all ages using a personalized and integrated arts pedagogical approach. Throughout her career she has led professional development workshops and webinars for MAIS (Mediterranean Association of International Schools), ECIS (European Council of International Schools), IB (International Baccalaureate). Her current passion project is "Teaching English Theatre Through Theatre" in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira, Portugal.
