This guide uses the AQA specification and top band mark scheme to help navigate through the NEA. The spreadsheet is editable for your own needs. I use Onshape for CAD, and various other programs (microsoft visio) etc, but you can change these, if you need to.
This is just meant as a guideline / starting point and the pupils colour in a section, when they have completed it. There will be many different permutations in a class, due to their individual style and ability. Hope it can help!

This resource shows how to start using the CAD program - Onshape, from beginner, to more advanced. The Dice project is a good first introduction, as it explains lots of methods for drawing objects, including many very useful constraints. I have been using Onshape for over 8 years now and have found it to be an excellent CAD package. More content will be loaded to YouTube as time goes by.
