As this is supposed to encourage students to research and explore the events of the Peterloo Massacre for themselves, this is intended as a homework activity, but you are also able to incorporate it into your class if you prefer.

Introduce your students to the dreidel game this Hanukkah. This easy to understand worksheet explains in simple terms hoe to play with a dreidel. Along with this resource you will need a dreidel, some tokens, beads, sweets of gelt (chocolate coins for an authentic hanukkah experience). Divide your students into small teams and give them each a driedel and a worksheet and some ‘gelt’.
