As part of our transition, I have created some resources to support KS1 children (my class has both year 1 and 2 children, so this acts as a refresher for the year 2’s and an introduction for the year 1’s) with the editing and enhancing process through the amazing ‘Here We Are’ book by Oliver Jeffers. My resources are simple and aim to support the children with the editing and enhacning skills they will be using throughout the years. This unit is only a mini unit (3 days worth of planning) but could easily be stretched out over a week.
The resources including group, paired and independent work, as well as picture evidence sheets. This download also includes a break down of the days.
