Spanish New Year Future Tense Sentences and Conjugations - Students translate 10 English to Spanish New Year resolution sentences, each starting with "In the New Year". The sentences include resolutions to help at home, be kind, recycle, do well in school, etc. A sample sentence is, "In the New Year, I will practice my trumpet every day." Students also conjugate future tense verbs in the tu form under 7 clip art images and conjugate 10 more future tense verbs in various forms. The worksheet includes comer fully conjugated in the future tense and a vocabulary box with 9 words and phrases to assist students. The answer key is included.
This activity contains 8 Spanish fill in the blank and sentence translations with direct object pronouns and food vocabulary. Verbs used are cocinar, lavar, comer, vender, ir a + comprar, traer, and tener.
Students are instructed to:
1. Substitute the direct object with a direct object pronoun
2. Translate the Spanish sentence to English.
3. Write a Spanish food word under each of the 8 clip art images.
The answer key is included.
Students practice agreement in number and gender of people nouns such as man, woman, boy, girl, etc. and descriptive adjectives with this 18 question worksheet. An example is "the athletic woman." Students first translate it to Spanish and then write the plural forms in the second column. They are also instructed to write a Spanish adjective under each picture shown. Spanish Day of the Dead / Dia de los Muertos Fallen Phrases - This activity provides a unique way for students to write Spanish sentences that utilize common Day of the Dead vocabulary (pierced paper, bread of the dead, cemetery, food, photo, altar, marigolds, family, sugar skulls, etc.) and the verbs gustar and encantar. There are 7 sentences to translate from English to Spanish. The words of the sentences must be written inside of "fallen phrases" boxes that resemble a crossword. Students get feedback as they complete the assignment because only correct words will complete each "fallen phrases" box. The answer key is included.
This activity contains 10 fill in the blank with conjugations of the verbs ser or vivir plus 10 sentence completions with the nationality that corresponds to the country listed in the previous sentence. Students must also supply the masculine and feminine nationalities for 10 countries listed. The answer key is included.

Surround your students with Spanish language with this 167 word classroom label set! The labels are on plain, white backgrounds to allow you to print them on colored paper, rather than using expensive color printing. There are labels for most anything in your classroom from school supplies like lápices, cuadernos, plumas, tijeras, and carpetas, to standard items in and parts of the classroom like reloj, pared, puerta, ventana, planta, borrador, computadora, cartel, diccionario, pegamento, and engrapadora. Some words have more than one version included to accommodate regional differences, and several words are included in both their singular and plural forms to give flexibility in the classroom. In addition to the very typical classroom items, several words commonly found in Spanish or bilingual classroom settings are included. Students write a letter to Santa that explains their behavior and tells him what gifts they would like him to bring. There are 48 vocabulary words in Spanish and English to assist students in their letter writing. Included are words about behavior and many gift vocabulary words such as cell phone, clothes (there are 17 clothing words), books, toys, video games, skis, etc. The quantity and variety of vocabulary makes it easy for students to complete their writing assignments and makes this item useful for all levels of Spanish. A one hundred word essay works well for first year students. The word count can be changed for other levels and varying ability levels.
French Thanksgiving Foods Bookmarks With and Without Vocabulary Words - There are 5 different designs of these Thanksgiving bookmarks. One page contains bookmarks with Thanksgiving words and one page has images only. The images only version gives the option of having students write the vocabulary words for a little extra practice. Each bookmark contains Le Jour de l'Action de Grâce and 5 clip art images. Vocabulary words include turkey, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, pumpkin pie, corn, cranberries, stuffing, sweet potatoes. Students practice Spanish speaking countries and capitals in a fun way! This PowerPoint Jeopardy game contains all 20 official Spanish speaking countries, plus countries and territories where Spanish is still widely spoken, or where there has been significant Spanish influence in the past. They include Puerto Rico, Andorra, Guam, Philippines, and Gibraltar. The 5 categories are North America A, North America B, South America, South America and Africa, and Potpourri. Students click a number under one of the categories and a country will appear. The next click displays the capital city, the point value, and a house that can be clicked to return to the game board. The previously clicked questions are highlighted to show students that they have already been used. There are 2 randomly placed "Sorpresa" slides that double the points of the next conjugation, if answered correctly. This is a no prep activity that can be modified to suit your purposes in your classroom.
Also included are 2 slides that can be printed and given to students to complete while they are in the audience. Each contains a shell of the game board with the categories at the top and the point value in each cell. As participants choose their questions, the students in the audience can write the country and the corresponding capital city.

Students practice irregular verb meanings and conjugations in a fun, interactive way with these games! There are two 32 square board games containing 15 different common Spanish irregular verbs. One board contains Spanish infinitives that students must translate to English, and the other contains Spanish infinitives that students must conjugate based on the subject pronouns provided. Students play in groups of 3 which include 2 players, and 1 moderator with the answer key. Students shake the die, move that number of spaces, say the answer, and see who reaches the end first.

Spanish Greetings, Leave Takings and Basics Vocabulary Reference - This presentation and student reference includes 40 vocabulary words and phrases to teach or review basic greetings, leave takings, introductions, courtesies, basic questions/responses like how are you/I'm well, thanks, What's you name?, How old are you? etc. Accent marks and the silent h have different color font to highlight these from the very first time that students see them.
