Another original short story written by me in a child friendly vocabulary set in 1895, Jayne, the young lady of the house is attending a ball in the manor and waiting patiently for a young suiter to appear. There are various characters in the story and this could be used as an introduction to a long novel, Shakespearian or Dickensian literature in preparation for Grammar/ Secondary school. There are pages to read and discuss so I have included a powerpoint presentation followed by comprehension questions, writing activities and drawing conclusions. There is dictionary work and internet research.

Challenges for children are related to every day things like coloured cubes, flowers, animals so this is a child friendly workbook. I have also included a Powerpoint presentation for classroom use.

This is the third in the series of My Colour Books for Early years and KS1 children. It is themed for Summer with colourful graphics. The tasks are to complete sentences using the correct colours, visual awareness is important and recognition of colours essential. There are also two wordmaps which could be laminated one on Seaside words and one on colours. These could be used as aids for writing ecxercises. The children will also be asked to complete some reading activities putting in a missing colour word, this will test understanding of what has been read. This can also be bought as part of a bundle.

An original story of Noah and the Ark written by me in child friendly vocabulary. There are 8 parts to the story which the children can read, highlighting new wordsfor dictionary work. These are followed by worksheets for descriptive writing, poetry writing, PHSE I Promise to..., converstional writing, drawing activities, searching for adjectives, animal gender and noises. It can be printed out as a complete workbook or as individual sheets, can be linked to RE or an animal topic or a topic like God's Promises. good for differentation and SEN children.

They are suitable activities for the entire primary school. The file can be printed out and each page laminated to use in class. Once laminated they will last forever. The activities provide fun things to do for the children. I have used many of these in my own teaching and the children loved them.
