The Lightning Thief
Kung Fu Panda 3
The newest release of Beauty and the Beast (PG-2017) is a great chance to share this classic story with your students as they might think the older version isn't modern enough. Engage your students with this carefully crafted, educational movie guide. Students will learn about inner beauty, the concept of propaganda and the importance of thinking about how a person came to be who they are.
Journey through the movie as a class, pause at the designated times, and discuss and answer 11 high-level short answer and essay questions in this 4 page PDF movie guide.
An answer key is not included as many questions are open-ended and encourage students to analyze the film. Many answers will not fit into a 'box'. Students are encouraged to construct their own meaning from the characters' dialogue and behavior.
