Are you looking for some engaging ideas to finish off the school year during English classes? This set of 4 worksheets will encourage your students to reflect and be creative, right up until the last day of school.
Included in the pack is:
Class newspaper template (with blank heading spaces in each box that allows students to personalise their learning and event headlines from the year).
Time capsule template that encourages students to reflect on the year and look to the future (the teacher can keep these in a box and bring them out at the end of the next year or make it really exciting and find somewhere to bury the box!).
Flip the script template (students choose their favorite book from the year, summarise the ending then re-write the ending the way they want it to end!).
Year book template (a great activity for teachers to celebrate their class at the end of the year - you could even copy the pages making an actual book for the students after everyone has completed!)

Are you looking for a workbook that supports students to both learn about the passive voice and apply it in various sentences? This workbook does just that!
What’s included in the 40-page workbook?
• General information page – when to use the passive voice
• Instruction page – how to form the passive voice
• Passive voice sentence mat + negative version
• Three-page worksheets for EACH of the following passive sentence types:
Present simple passive
Past simple passive
Future simple passive
Present continuous passive
Past continuous passive
Be going to passive
Present perfect passive
Past perfect passive
Future perfect passive
• 9 pages of answers (one for each section of the workbook)
Teaching note: each worksheet for the individual passive voice tense has four scaffolded parts.
Part 1: writing basic passive sentence from an active sentence (doesn’t need the use of ‘by’)
Part 2: filling in the gaps using the tense + past participle (most of them are irregular past participles)
Part 3: writing more developed passive sentences from active sentences (use of irregular past participles + using ‘by’ on more occasions)
Part 4: changing passive sentences back to active sentences
Teaching note: this resource should be used with students who have been working with forming the past participle or are using verb tense mats to support learning. The workbook begins with more basic tenses and builds up to the more difficult ones.
You could use this booklet at intervals across the year, or even for revision before key grammar-based exams.
