A unit of revision lessons on the American West. These are note taking based and include exam question planning and preparation. We would teach these alongside more interactive revision lessons also - these are very information based and ensure students have a good set of notes to work from.

A great introduction to the lives of Plains Indians and key aspects needed. A range of exam questions, activities, information and video clips hyperlinked. I get students to take notes in an 8 box grid on a page/ double depending on size of books. They take a mixture of written notes and pictures

Lesson looking at factory conditions and the life of children in Industrial England

Lesson revising some of the content for the Paper 3 GCSE Edexcel on Vietnam. mostly focuses on retrieval practice and links to lesson 2 which tests students on their knowledge of the numbers. Aim - students to have specific context to add to How Useful and 20m questions

Lots of problem solving activities and a great starter to get their brains working. Introduces the different aspects of the revolution and the changes that would take place

Revision lesson working through a medicine timeline and WW1. Students add three key facts to each event on timeline, colour code for the themes and complete tasks at the bottom. On the reverse is similar for the WW1 section looking at notes on each key battle, developments in treatment and prevention at the same time and the stages of the evac route. Takes 1-2 lessons to complete/ could be hw and is a valuable revision resource for students. Give mine blanks to complete from memory

A competition made for my school. 15 posters to cover a variety of school subjects. These can be displayed in those subject areas and students have to complete and return the question sheets. I’ll be providing prizes for correct answers (will draw one out at random) and one for the best response to which of the 15 was most influential and why.
