Tower of London - Understanding the Tower

(3)
The Tower of London, a historic fortress located on the River Thames in London, is one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks. Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has served as a royal palace, a prison, an armory, and the home of the Crown Jewels. Known for its rich and sometimes grim history, the Tower has witnessed intrigue, treachery, and royal drama over the centuries. Today, it stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit destination, offering a glimpse into the fascinating history of medieval England. I’ve added some images which can be used to describe a setting.
